     Here we are at the Tivoli-Lee bar, our last stop, where we have the remains of our mint juleps from the bar next door at the Hotel Modern. The deep red drink at this bar is red-wine-based like sangria. Finished with yummy mini strawberry shortcakes.

      You can wander the streets here holding drinks in both hands, which we managed to do!
Some food highlights: pimiento cheese fries in a patty, topped with pork belly bits served over a schmear of Apple butter; fish and chips with fab tartar sauce; boudin balls with a spicy sweet-sour jam.

With our food-tour guide we strolled along Charles Avenue in the Garden District.
