With John in Wyoming: Hoping the road opens this morning

    Checking the websites and watching the Weather Channel to see if I'm going to be able to get through to the tornado watch in Nebraska.
    Went to the restaurant in the truck stop here at Little America last night and talked to some drivers. Two women drivers who cover a triangle from Denver to Portland, OR, to Reno and back to Denver advised me to check the 511 line for information. So I've been calling it and now checking the Wyoming DOT website where I learned of an accident yesterday involving as many as 70 vehicles. Definitely does not look good.
     There are more than 100 trucks parked in the lot here at Little America, mostly waiting for the road to open. I could either wait here or drive up to Rawlings, where the first closure starts. Gathering more info first. Back to the restaurant for breakfast.
