Elk roam streets of Packwood

Arrived in Packwood last night, came around a corner and almost ran into this guy. There were two of them wandering the streets and grazing in lawns.

120 miles to home today through Mount Rainier National Park. Longest ride of the year for me and I'm comfy in bed now. Need to get started soon. Where's the snooze button on this alarm?
