Spent Friday crossing Kansas

Kathy took this picture from the window of the truck. Pretty much the view all day Friday.

We crossed Kansas on Friday and spent the night on the west side of Denver. Planning a short drive today to Grand Junction, CO, which will have us poised for a day of exploration on Sunday in Arches National Park.

Planning to do some banking in town today before we hit the road. Will try to do a blog entry tonight that rises above the "what I had for breakfast" category of this one (yogurt, banana, sausage, Raisin Bran, hard-boiled eggs and coffee).

Concerning the Seattle Sauls

Welcome to the blog that tries to keep track of the Saul family in Seattle. It has some of the previous attempts at an online annual letter (formerly the Saul holiday letter) and was used to update how John was doing after surgery to remove a tumor in his skull.
The latest MRI (November 2014) showed nothing there (some of you suspected that all along) and no need to see the neurosurgeon for three years. Still on blood thinner, but doing fine.

Now getting ready for a summer of activities. Kathy has retired after 38 years at The Seattle Times, and John has promised not to even think about work until at least November. That should not be a problem with all that we have planned. Come share with us.
