Trying to blog with the world's slowest Internet connection

At least I have a connection tonight, unlike last night. So I will try to catch you up on what we have been doing the last two days.

When last heard from, we were having breakfast at the Twisp River Suites. I was the model of efficiency that morning:
John Barrett fueling up for the ride in Twisp.
The model of efficiency: Eating breakfast and reading the paper.

Ready to ride out of Twisp.

We spent Wednesday night at the Bonaparte Lake Resort. Lovely view.
Basic accommodations
Don and Mary Jo in their cabin with a wood-burning cook stove.
Kathy would not let me buy the art on the cabin walls.

We went of two mountain passes on Wednesday, Wauconda and Sherman. Here Mary Jo and John Barrett arrive at the top.
I came in far back.

At the top of Sherman Pass, highest in Washington State.
